Inspired by the late Wes Moodie—past Rotary President and respected RE/MAX Realtor—this bursary honours his unwavering dedication to the youth of Dunnville and Haldimand. Wes believed deeply in the importance of education and community support, and this bursary reflects his vision of empowering the next generation.
The Dunnville Rotary Club is proud to offer the Wes Moodie Memorial Bursary in the amount of $2,000, in memory of Wes Moodie and his legacy of community service and dedication to helping others succeed.
This bursary is available to a student who is planning to attend a trade school or post-secondary institution in the upcoming academic year.
To apply, please submit:
- An essay (maximum 500 words)
- Your future goals and what you plan to study.
- The institution or program you plan to attend.
- Volunteer work in your community.
- Your hobbies, interests, and any personal achievements.
- A resume
- highlight your education, work experience, and extracurricular activities.
- Two letters of recommendation:
- One from a secondary school teacher or staff member.
- One from a community member (e.g., coach, employer, volunteer leader, etc.).
